Atrovent® Inhalation Aerosol

(ipratropium bromide)

Quiet Drug:

Long-Term Bronchodilator

Atrovent® Inhalation Aerosol is a long-term bronchidilator intended to prevent asthma attacks.

Atrovent® is NOT to be administered by EMTBs per Maryland Medical Protocols

Drug Action:	Long-term bronchodilator
CONTRAINDICATION:	Sensitivity/allergy to peanut, soy bean oil, or other soya lecithins
Dose:	Multi-dose inhaler : 2 inhalations (puffs) 4x daily.
Supplied as: Atrovent® Inhalation Aerosol		Atrovent® Inhalation Solution (nebulized) generic ipratropium bromide inhalation solution (nebulized)
