Central Maintenance Ribbon Cutting Event

The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service officially opened its Fleet Section's new 77,000 square-foot Central Maintenance Facility on Southlawn Lane in Rockville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local elected officials and representatives of the fire-rescue community.

On hand to cut the ribbon were (from left): MCFRS Program Manager Steve Lamphier, County Council Public Safety Committee Chair Phil Andrews, Mr. Srour, Fire Chief Richard R. Bowers, Jr., President of the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Rescue Association Marcine Goodloe, Montgomery County Chief Administrative Officer Timothy L. Firestine, County Executive Ike Leggett, District 17 State Senator Jennie Forehand and Assistant Chief Richard Holzman.
