Public Safety and GIS

The Department of Technology Services Geographic Information Services (DTS-GIS) team provides GIS services for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service and the Police Department. For instance, DTS-GIS provides the 911 street centerline data maintenance for the County. Other services include:

• Interactive mapping services
• Map creation and presentation services
• Site location/resource allocation analysis
