The Maryland's Childrens Health Program
Health Insurance Coverage for Children and Pregnant Women
Who is the program for? - For children and teens, up to age 19 and pregnant women, who need to see a doctor.
What does it cost? - Free or low cost health insurance is now available for working families with incomes up to: *$22,120 for a family of two, or *$27,760 for a family of three, or *$33,400 for a family of four.
When does the program begin? - Began July 1, 1998.
Where can I get an application? - Click Here! Or you can pick up an application at libraries, schools, Head Start, WIC centers, Income Assistance and food stamp offices. Mail in or drop off the application at a Public Health Service Eligibility Unit.
