Flu Prevention and Care Guide
The Flu Prevention and Care Guide is a one page educational flyer designed to appeal to a wide audience with pictures and minimal text. This resource links with the Montgomery County Stay At Home Toolkit for more details on the prevention of the flu, decreasing spread of flu and what items should be collected at home to take care of someone who is ill. The original files are available upon request. Included with the Guide is a one page file with instructions to modify the document.

Introducing...Marta the Planner! (Windows Media Player) An Educational Video on the Plan to Be Safe Campaign. Learn how to put together your own Plan 9 kit with other essential items. Marta the Planner covers all three steps of the Plan to Be Safe Campaign, Have a Conversation, Make a Plan and Make a Kit. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the Marta the Planner video, make a request or e-mail us at montgomeryapc@montgomerycountymd.gov.
Please note: Marta the Planner is in CD-ROM format and plays only in computers equipped with a CD-ROM drive. This is not a disc that plays in a DVD player.
This tool focuses on infection control measures clinics and office settings can take to prevent the spread of germs, including influenza. It was developed to engage the medical community in pandemic flu preparedness. It has been reviewed by infection control professionals as well as those who work in offices and medical clinics. It includes office and clinic information, patient education materials and an audio slide presentation on infection control measures. It is available in CD-ROM format and materials are customizable for your local health department. Download the toolkit here! Once you have downloaded the zip file to your C:\ drive, extract files to the C:\ drive and then please click on the DHHS.exe to activate the program.
