Shaken Baby Syndrome Campaign
A message to everyone who cares for a baby or toddler.
Shaking is Hazardous to My Health!
Taking care of me is not easy.
I need a lot of things from you:
I need lots of hugs.
I need to feel that I am important to you.
I need to know that when I cry you will be there
to feed me,clean me, and make me feel better.
I need for you to take a break from me
if you feel tired or angry.
I need for you to hold me gently and
never throw me up in the air.
I need for you to never shake me because
it causes my head to rock back and forth.
It can cause me to go blind, have
brain damage, or even die!
So, please remember that shaking
is hazardous to my health.
Take a break--and never shake me.
