Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The project provides HIV education and functions to bridge the gap between human service agencies and deaf clients with AIDS-related issues. Services are offered both on-site at the FSF office and off-site throughout Maryland. Services include free HIV testing, counseling, referrals, condom distribution, group presentations, and individual sessions.

Free HIV counseling, testing, and referral services on Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the East County Regional Services Center, 3300 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904.

HIV Dental Services

Federal regional program providing general dental care to HIV-infected clients from 5 Maryland Counties who meet income guidelines. Services held at the Dennis Avenue Health Center in Silver Spring or the Cheverly Dental Clinic in Cheverly. Pre-registration is required. Must meet eligibility requirements.

Fund services for persons with HIV disease or AIDS, operates Maryland's AIDS Drug Assistance Program and health insurance premium payment assistance programs, educates the public and health care professionals about HIV and AIDs, and monitors the disease in Maryland.

Maryland AIDS Drug Assistance Program (MADAP) / Primary Adult Care (PAC) Program

MADAP: Helps low to moderate income HIV-positive Maryland residents access drugs to treat HIV infection, opportunistic infections, and complications of HIV infection or related conditions.
PAC: Provide prescription coverage and primary care services to low-income Maryland residents who do not qualify for Medicaid.

Clinical Services: The Patient Services Diagnostic Unit provides additional lab test and diagnostic evaluations of persons tested positive for HIV. Patients diagnosed with STD are also treated.
Testing Program: Services include diagnostic testing, exams and treatment of STD's and epidemiological follow up. Free, anonymous and confidential HIV testing is also offered. All persons tested for HIV receive pre- and post-test counseling.
Case Management: Provide HIV Seropositive Services including case management, diagnostic evaluation unit, HIV outpatient clinic services, HIV dental care and nutritional and addictions counseling. On-going support groups are available for anyone who is HIV positive or has AIDS. Home health care services are offered as needed. Education and outreach to at risk populations are also provided.
