Walk-ins accepted Monday 9:00am - 10:30am and 1:00pm - 3:00pm, Tuesday thru Friday 9:00am - 11:00am and 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Help people living in Montgomery County obtain and/or access behavioral health services (mental health and substance abuse). Consumers of all ages who are eligible for the Public Mental Health System are linked with providers who are able to provide the requested service at a location convenient for the consumer. Consumers who speak Spanish and other languages are assisted.

The Intensive Early Intervention Program provides children ages 18 months - 7 years with structured behavioral intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. The In-Home Program provides therapy in the home, school, or day care setting and our Preschool Program provides therapy at our on-site classroom. One-to-one positive behavioral intervention focuses on building language, communication, social skills, academic skills, and self-help/daily living skills. Diagnostic Evaluation Services provided for children with autism spectrum disorder or those suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder. Available services include diagnostic evaluations, behavioral assessments, psychological assessments, and psycho educational evaluations.

Developmental Disabilities / Community Support Network - Montgomery County Aging and Disability Services

Assist children and adults with developmental disabilities access public and private services, and provide professional support and guidance to families needing assistance in caring for their family member with a disability. Summer camp scholarships. Autism Waiver provides service coordination to children with autism. Individual Support Services monitors funding provided by the State of Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) for family and individual support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. My Turn Program provides programmatic and financial assistance to families with children with developmental disabilities ages 3 - 13 years and to assist caregivers of children with developmental disabilities with accessing information, linking to other community resources, designing individual support services, and financial assistance with one-time only purchases. Resource Coordination assists individuals with developmental disabilities who receive funding from the DDA. Respite Services provides temporary relief and support for families who provide ongoing care to frail elderly persons, children and adults with disabilities and/or children with severe medical and behavioral needs. Transitioning Youth Services and Eligibility assists students with developmental disabilities, ages 14 - 21 years, and their families in the process of graduating from the school system and entering the adult service system.

Provide services for children with multiple disabilities, ages 3 through 21 years. Services include after school programs and a 6 week summer program. The Autism Program provides highly structured teaching environments using the Applied Behavior Analysis methodology. The program provides students ages 4-21 with one-to-one, two-to-one and small group instruction. Speech and language, occupational therapy, and related services are delivered in a consultative classroom model. The Multiple Learning Needs Program serves students with disabilities including Autism/PDD, developmental delays, speech/language and other health impairments. The program serves students ages 4-21 in a non-graded program and Grades 2-9 in an Elementary/Secondary graded program. The school provides therapeutic, social and pragmatic skills programming depending on the ages and learning needs of the students. Career development is embedded in the educational program. Students exiting the Post High School at age 21 receive a Certificate of Completion.

Teach social skills to children between the ages of 4 and 7 in preparation for and to supplement school experiences. Caregiver involvement is welcome. Each session consists of 5 classes, which are designed to maximize social skill interactions among peers and also to model for caregivers different experiences they can use to interact with their child.
