Hours: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointment needed for services. Crisis intervention services include case management, clothes closet, financial assistance (when funds are available), and food bank. Rental assistance in eviction and/or foreclosure cases, and prescription drug assistance.

Provide vouchers to eligible families for the purchase of child care. Case managers determine eligibility, provide program information and counseling with regards to choosing quality child care and the pursuit of child support and provide information about other resources as necessary.

24-hour telephone or walk-in crisis counseling. Provides assessment and financial assistance to preserve existing housing and to increase self-sufficiency, and determines eligibility for state and federally-funded financial assistance programs.

Provide benefits to eligible residents in the form of Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA), Food Stamps, Medical Assistance and Transitional Emergency Medical and Housing Assistance (TEMHA).

Provide a free outreach program for recipients of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI). Explain how other financial support services will be affected when a recipient returns to work, as well as providing benefits planning and information and referral. Also provide training on the "Ticket to Work" and other Social Security Work Incentives.

MEAP provides financial assistance for eligible low-income households to pay home heating costs. Eligibility is determined by income, household size and fuel type. The grant is a one time only payment per heating season and is intended to cover part of your heating costs. EUSP helps eligible families to obtain safe, reliable, and affordable electric services and assist with past due electric bills.

Provide emergency financial assistance and/or shelter to families and adults who are homeless, at risk of loss of housing, victims of individual or community disasters, or persons stranded away from home. Assistance is also available for burial expenses to those who qualify.

SafeLink Wireless

Program enables qualifying customers to receive a free SafeLink wireless cell phone and free cellular service. Eligibility requirements. Must already participate in one of the following assistance programs: Electric Universal Service Program, Food Stamps; Maryland Energy Assistance Program; Medical Assistance; Public Assistance to Adults; Supplemental Security Income (SSI); Temporary Cash Assistance; and Temporary Disability Assistance Program.
