Trained non-medical volunteers provide practical and emotional support to terminally ill adults and children and their families, and to anyone grieving the death of a loved one. Caregivers will visit homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Offer adult bereavement support groups and children's bereavement programs through Good Grief Clubs in schools and at Camp Caring, a weekend summer camp.

JSSA Hospice Care

Services can be provided in private homes, senior living residences, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes and are available throughout Montgomery County. Covered under Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans. Services include patient evaluations and assessments, pain and symptom management, care coordination and supervision, ongoing medical consultation, medical equipment, personal care assistance, emotional counseling and support, and bereavement support.

Assist the terminally ill and their families with counseling, support, medical care and pain relief. Home hospice services enable patients to obtain hospice and home care services in their own homes. Acute hospice care is provided at Casey House.
