Free physical activity program for adults who are blind or visually impaired and live in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Program is held at the National Capital YMCA at 1711 Rhode Island Avenue, NW. Program hours are from 8:45 a.m. until noon each Saturday morning from the Saturday after Labor Day until the end of June. Activities include group exercise, workout in the weight room with the latest equipment, including stationary bicycles, treadmills, cross training machines, individual muscle machines and more. An annual picnic is held at the Boat House at Fletcher’s Cove where members take part in canoeing, tandem bike riding, and fun fellowshipping.
