Provide affordable housing and supportive services for low- and moderate-income families and individuals throughout the County. Programs and
resources include:

Provide assistance for very low-income households (single or family), the elderly, and people with disabilities to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market.
Housing for the Disabled:

Housing Choice Vouchers that have been set aside specifically for people with disabilities.
Housing for Seniors / Elderly:

HOC has 555 public housing units located in 3 buildings designated for elderly residents and persons with disabilities. These apartment communities are located conveniently near transportation and shopping.
Public Housing:

Federally subsidized housing program that provides decent and safe rental housing assistance for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Rental Assistance:

Temporary (one to two years) rental assistance program that helps families and individuals that are homeless or experiencing critical or emergency housing needs. Referral required.
Resident Services:

Scattered Sites:

HOC owns about 1,600 scattered site units, which are individual units located throughout Montgomery County. These units are available for rent.
