Provide online access to medical, operational, and intelligence documents from the 1990 - 1991 Gulf War. Provide service members, veterans, and any interested person with information on what happened during the Gulf War that might have affected the health of those who served. Site contains studies and analyses, environmental exposure reports, information papers, case narratives, close-out reports, and annual reports.

Institute of Medicine (IOM)
Report: Gulf War and Health: Volume 8. Health Effects of Serving in the Gulf War. In this report, the IOM determines that Gulf War service causes post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and that service is associated with multisymptom illness; gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome; alcohol and other substance abuse; and anxiety disorders and other psychiatric disorders.
