This plan emphasizes preventive primary care that offers a full range of outpatient and inpatient services within VA health care system. Eligibility for most veterans' health care benefits is based solely on active military service in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard (or Merchant Marines during WWII), and discharged under other than dishonorable conditions. You can apply for benefits on VHA's website using the online Veterans Health Administration (VA) Enrollment - Click on the link on the right hand side titled Enroll / Apply for VA Health Benefits (10-10EZ).
