(To see info in Spanish click here)

Science has established a strong link between children’s social emotional development, behavior and school success.

Did you know that on-site and telephone Early Childhood Consultant Services are available for child care programs in Montgomery County?

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants can work with you to help:

v     The children in your program get along together

v     Manage children’s difficult behaviors effectively

v     Enhance staff communication skills

v     Talk with parents about children’s needs and behavior

v     Identify and plan for children with special needs

v     Provide referrals to community resources if needed

Call ChildLink at 240-777-GROW (4769) for more information or to request help from an Early Childhood Consultant.

ChildLink is a part of the County’s help me grow public engagement efforts to ensure that all young children get the services and supports they need to succeed once they enter Kindergarten.
