Projects

Past and current projects include:

    • Reforestation at Blake High School;
    • Building custom outdoor chess tables for Wheaton Government Center;
    • Painting parking lots for the Parks Departments;
    • Constructing a Garden and 6-foot high fence;
    • Building two custom gazebos for day care centers;
    • Building a trail along River Road and in the Rachel Carson Park;
    • Assisting the installation of stream bridges;
    • Installation of a rock garden and retaining wall at Snider's Super Market;
    • Keeping Silver Spring parking garages and lots clean and landscaped;
    • Beautification of Shady Grove Road improvements;
    • Cleaning Storm Water Management Ponds;
    • Keeping county bike paths cleared;
    • Constructing a dozen 6-foot long streetscape planters with plantings for  Poolesville Housing Community

   The MCCC is mandated to earn 200,000 dollars through its fee-for-services projects.  About 60% of our fee-for-service revenue project come from the Department of Public Works & Transportation.  Other sponsors include HOC, the Depatments of Parks, Health & Human Services, Housing & Community Affairs and Environmental Protection.
