Spreadsheet with the list of ideas generated by the 20 plus individuals
who attended the September 21st public meeting
The welcome and introductions for the morning public meeting was made
by Silver Spring Regional Services Center Director Gary Stith and the meeting
was facilitated by the Library Department’s Public Services Administrator
for Facilities and Strategic Management Rita Gale. Silver Spring Branch
Manager Dan Beavin, Don Scheurmann and Anjali Gulati from the County Department of General
Services, and Bill Evans from The Lukmire Partnership, Inc. (architectural firm) were also present.
The Excel
document has two sheets:
- LIKE: ideas suggested for the best features/aspects of the current library,
- WANT: programs or services individuals wanted to be considered for the new building.
