LONG BRANCH LIBRARY
TO HOLD COMMUNITY FORUM
ON TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Long Branch Community Library will hold a community forum on March 16 at 7 p.m. to discuss the library's efforts to continue service during its temporary closure for renovations which are scheduled to begin on April 1, 2000.
Jan Wilson, county architect and project manager, will discuss the library's plans for the renovation, and Jan Baird-Adams, library branch manager, will explain how the new bookmobile will serve the community until the renovations are complete in June 2001.
The forum will be held in the main meeting room of the library, located at 8800 Garland Avenue, Silver Spring.
