ALL DAY 25 CENT FARE LAUNCHES
RIDE-ON'S 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the County's Ride-On bus service, all Ride-On bus fares on April 10 will cost only $.25 all day, the same fare charged in 1975, and the Regional Day Pass will only cost $1.50. The special rates launch a series of activities that will run through the end of this year to celebrate Ride-On's service and reward riders.

"We have plans for a series of events and special promotions that we hope will show our customers how much we appreciate their ongoing support, and will also entice new riders to our system," said Carolyn Biggins, Ride-On's general manager.

The County's Ride-On system includes more than 300 buses that provide 20 million trips per year, complementing the services of other local transit providers. The system is operated by Montgomery County's Department of Public Works and Transportation, Division of Transit Services.
