County Hosts Public Meeting Regarding
New Public Safety Radio System

Montgomery County's new 800 MHz public safety radio system will be discussed at two meetings this month to brief residents on how the new system will improve the County's emergency response. The briefings will include a discussion about the new radio towers for the system that will be located in Rockville at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission's water storage facility near Shady Grove Road, and in Clarksburg at the site of the County's correctional facility.

The meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24, at the Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center, 13436 New Hampshire Ave. (located in the shopping center at Randolph Rd.) in Silver Spring; and at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 in the Council Office Building, Third Floor Auditorium, 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.
