Summer Sounds in the Parks
Features Seventeen Concerts

The Summer Sounds in the Parks series will bring 17 free outdoor concerts to venues around the county. The series, which begins June 25, includes five comedy, musical, and puppetry shows for kids and adults, plus 12 musical concerts featuring jazz, country, pop, blues, folk, and concert bands. The Summer Sounds in the Parks is sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Recreation, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and The Journal Newspapers.

Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and attendees are asked to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Picnics are welcome.
