County's First International Festival
The sights, sounds, tastes and traditions of many cultures will come together at Montgomery County's First International Festival. It will be held Sunday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Jesup Blair Park in Silver Spring.
The free festival, which showcases the County's cultural diversity, will offer more than 20 music and dance performances, children's activities, crafts, and food from around the world. An added attraction is the Taste of Silver Spring, featuring local restaurant cuisines.
Formerly known as the Ethnic Heritage Festival, the event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Recreation and the National Council for the Traditional Arts.
For information, call the International Festival Hotline at 240-777-6821 or access the County's website.
