Holiday Schedule for
Independence Day

Montgomery County government will observe the following holiday schedule for Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4:

County Offices -- closed

Libraries -- closed

County liquor stores - open

Ride-On - Sunday schedule

Metrobus - 8 a.m. - Midnight

Metrorail - Saturday schedule

Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters - free

Refuse/recycling pick-up - no collection*

Transfer Station - closed

MCPS Administrative Offices and schools -- closed

State offices & courts - closed

*collection provided one day later for the remainder of the week (last collection day is Saturday)
