Public Meeting Set
On Silver Spring
Library Study Report

The findings and recommendations of the Silver Spring Library Study Committee will be presented at a public meeting on July 13, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the library, located at 8901 Colesville Rd.

The report will "identify library services and functions that will address the needs of communities served by the Silver Spring Library." The services and functions will be used to help determine the size and location of a new library.

Consisting of 25 members representing the public and private sectors, the Study Committee has been meeting since last September to gather data by conducting public surveys, hosting community meetings, discussing relevant issues with appropriate public agencies, and preparing a final report, which will be presented at the meeting.
