"Nights of Notes" series
Begins new season
With U.S. Air Force Band

"Silver Wings," the U.S. Air Force's premier country band, will kick off the 2000-01 "Nights of Notes" music series at the Gaithersburg Regional Library on September 27, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Formed in 1993, "Silver Wings" performs a mixture of country classics and contemporary tunes. They have appeared on The Nashville Network's "Prime Time Country" show and perform regularly at the U.S. Capitol and The White House.

The free concert will be held in the large meeting room of the library, located at 18330 Montgomery Village Avenue.
