County Cable Montgomery Features New Series:
"Capital View - Annapolis" on State's Legislative Process
A new show about the state's legislative process, "Capital View - Annapolis," will be featured on County Cable Montgomery throughout the General Assembly session. The show will be cablecast on Wednesday evenings at 6 and 9:15 p.m., and again on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Hosted by Richard Madaleno, a lobbyist with the County's Office of Intergovernmental Relations, the show gives residents a closer look at the state's legislative process. The series runs through April 21, 2000. The first show, which can be seen on the channel through February 7, includes an interview with Karl Aro, Executive Director of the state's Department of Legislative Services. The show also features some of the fanfare of this year's opening day in Annapolis, and brief interviews with some of the County's legislators. Future programs will include interviews with County delegates and lawmakers.
The 15-minute show is produced by Jessica Fusillo of the County's Office of Public Information in conjunction with Tom Denne of the County Council's Office of Legislative Information Services. County Cable Montgomery can be viewed by cable television subscribers who tune in to channel 6 or 55/5 (depending on where they live within the cable television franchise area).
