Pool tournament planned
For high school students

A pool tournament, karaoke and raffle are among the activities planned for Montgomery County high school students on November 8, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Champion Billiards Café, 1776 East Jefferson St. Rockville (in Federal Plaza, on Rockville Pike, behind Bennigans and Comp USA).

Admission, which is $5 at the door, or $4 with a canned food donation, is on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited seating. High School students must show a student ID. Refreshments will be sold on site.

The event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Recreation and the Montgomery County Youth Advisory Committee. Students requiring special assistance. i.e., mainstreaming or financial aid, should call 240-777-6960 in advance.
