Public Forum Set
On Recreation Dept. Fees

A public forum for comments and views from residents about fees charged by the County Recreation Department for programs and facilities will be held on December 4, at 7:30 p.m., in the Executive Office Building lobby level auditorium, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville. Recommendations regarding fees will be provided by the Countywide Recreation Advisory Board to the County Executive and County Council.

The discussion will include fees charged for programs such as summer camps and playgrounds, recreation classes, sports leagues and senior, teen and therapeutic programs. In addition, the forum will cover fees charged for swimming pools and specific uses for community centers. The department anticipates some minor increases for fees in the next fiscal year.

Parking for the forum is available on level G2 under the Executive Office Building.
