Volunteer Hotline Created
For First Night Montgomery

A special hotline has been created for persons wanting to volunteer for First Night Montgomery, the County's traditional non-alcoholic New Year's Eve celebration of the arts to be held on December 31 from 3 p.m. to midnight at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg.

Volunteers are needed to work two to three-hour shifts, performing duties such as providing information to the public, selling admission buttons, hosting entertainment venues, assisting with children's programs and staffing the Hospitality Center.

Each volunteer will work in an indoor, heated setting and have access to the Hospitality Center for free refreshments. In addition, each volunteer will receive a free First Night admission button and a limited edition souvenir designed for volunteers only.
