Local Crime Novelist, Screen Writer
To Speak at Silver Spring Library

George Pelecanos, crime novelist, screen writer and independent film producer will be the featured guest at the Speaker Series to be held on February 16 at 8 p.m. at the Silver Spring Library, 8901 Colesville Rd. "Shame the Devil," his eighth novel set in Washington, was recently published by Little Brown.

The free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Silver Spring Library. Pelecanos lives with his wife and three children in downtown Silver Spring.
