Duncan Seeks Applicants To Fill
Vacancy on Sign Review Board

County Executive Douglas M. Duncan is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Montgomery County Sign Review Board for a business representative. The three-member board reviews proposed signs that do not meet the requirement of the zoning ordinance and denies or approves the applications. Applicants must be residents of Montgomery County.

Members serve three-year terms without compensation and usually meet once a month on Thursday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Members are required to file a confidential financial disclosure statement.

Applicants should write by February 2 to County Executive Douglas M. Duncan at the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe St., Rockville, MD 20850. A brief resume, including home and work phone numbers, should be enclosed. Members of County boards, committees and commissions may not serve on more than one such group at a time.

Duncan's appointments are subject to confirmation by the County council. Applications of those selected for appointment are made public as part of the confirmation process.
