A jazz “happening,” performed by Chris Vadala and Friends, will be held at the next “Nights of Notes” program at the Gaithersburg Regional Library on April 25.
Vadala is professor and director of Jazz Studies at the University of Maryland and conducts jazz ensembles at Montgomery College. His “Friends” are Steve Larrance on drums, Bob Boguslaw at the piano and Pepe Gonzales on bass.
The free concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is not suited for children under the age of five. The program will be held in the large meeting room of the library, located at 18330 Montgomery Village Avenue.
