Montgomery County Ride On Buses
To Continue Emergency Service
On The Brunswick Line

The Montgomery County Ride On bus system will continue expanded service tomorrow, April 26, between the Germantown MARC station and Shady Grove Metro station to help commuters who normally use the MARC train’s Brunswick Line. As a result of the derailment of 25 freight train cars, no service on the MARC train's Brunswick Line will be available tomorrow.

Ride On buses and WMATA's Metro subway and bus services will accept all MARC tickets for travel until the situation along the Brunswick Line is resolved.

At the request of the Maryland Mass Transit Administration, WMATA will offer a special bus service tomorrow to accommodate MARC train customers, as well. The WMATA buses will operate between the Brunswick and Point of Rocks MARC stations to the Shady Grove Metro Station. These buses will operate according to the normal MARC Brunswick Line schedule.

For additional information on Ride On service, call 240-777-7433 from 6 a.m. 10 p.m. Or, check the County’s website at www.RideOnbus.com. The Ride Guide option on the website gives the user travel information upon entering an origin and destination.
