Mid-County Citizen Advisory Board to
Host Budget Forum

The Mid-County Citizens Advisory Board will sponsor a Capital Improvements Project (CIP) Forum on Tuesday, June 19 at the Wheaton Redevelopment Office, 11501 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton at 7:15 p.m. (Note change in location from earlier press release.)

The Forum will allow citizens to help the Mid-County Citizens Advisory Board prioritize and recommend capital projects – schools, roads, libraries, parks and recreational facilities, water and sewer – for the Mid-County area. Departmental representatives will present plans and answer questions. The results of this forum will be presented to the County Executive by the Board for consideration as he develops the Capital Improvements Program this fall.

Everyone is welcome to attend; those who cannot but would like to make their priorities known may e-mail their comments to midcty.citizens@montgomerycountymd.gov.
