Transfer Station to Accept
Electronic Equipment for Recycling
On June 23 and 24

County residents and businesses can recycle old and/or unwanted electronics products at the County’s Transfer Station, 16101 Frederick Road (Rte. 355 just south of Shady Grove Rd.), on June 23, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and June 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Televisions, stereos, radios, cassette players, CD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, fax machines, copiers and similar items – regardless of age – will be recycled through donations, reuse or remanufacturing at this special event.

Use the Route 355 entrance to the Transfer Station and follow the signs to the computer recycling area. Attendants will be on hand to help unload items.
