Friday Night Pool Parties Planned
For Middle and High School Students

Montgomery County middle and high school students are invited to cool off at a series of Friday night Pool Parties scheduled by the Department of Recreation.

In addition to swimming, the parties, to be held from July 13 through August 3, will feature music, pool games and prizes. The cost of each party is $2, and Montgomery County student ID’s are required.

The Pool Parties, which run from 8:30 to 11 p.m., will be held at the following Recreation Department pools:

• July 13 -- Long Branch Pool, 8700 Piney Branch Rd., Silver Spring;

• July 20 -- Western County Pool, 20151 Fisher Ave., Poolesville;

• July 27 -- Germantown Pool, 18905 Kingsview Dr., Germantown; and

• August 3 – Long Branch Pool, 8700 Piney Branch Rd., Silver Spring.
