Applications Being Accepted for
Community Initiatives Grants
Montgomery County’s Community and Neighborhood Initiatives Grant Program contains $75,000 this fiscal year, and funds for community projects are now available through the County’s Regional Services Centers. Each of the centers will be allocated $15,000, which will be awarded in amounts up to $2,500 per applicant.
Community groups and established non-profit organizations may apply for the funds for such community projects as beautification, civic training and coordination, neighborhood capital improvements (neighborhood signs, lighting or weather shelters), community outreach and organizing, crime prevention, and youth activities or services.
The deadline for applications is November 2. To receive an information packet and application form, contact the Regional Services Center closest to you.
