Quince Orchard Library
To Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
An afternoon of special family-oriented programs on September 15 will highlight the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Quince Orchard Library.
The free programs will begin at 11 a.m. with a bilingual storytime – in Spanish and English -- by professional storyteller Laura Kleinman. The Mariachi Azteca Band will present traditional Mexican music at noon, and the Quince Orchard Library Penny Theater players will perform the story of “Perez and Martina” at 1:15. 1:45, and 2:15 p.m. All programs will be held in the library’s meeting room. In addition, there will be a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The library is located at 15831 Quince Orchard Road, near the intersection of routes 28 and 124, across from Quince Orchard High School.
