Vendors, Entertainers Invited to Participate
At Latin American Heritage Fair
Montgomery County is seeking vendors and entertainers to participate in the County’s Latin American Heritage celebration to be held on Sunday, September 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Wheaton at Reedie Drive and Grandview Avenue.
The celebration will feature food, entertainment, free health screenings, and pedestrian and fire safety information including a Fire Safety House – a mobile home where children are taught about fire safety.
A limited number of booths are available for vendors to sell food, arts and crafts and other items that represent cultural diversity. Musicians, singers and dancers may also apply to perform at various times throughout the day. Vendor applications are available at by calling Wanda Resto-Torres at 240-777-2500. Applications must be received no later than September 14.
