U.S. Air Force Silver Wings in Concert
At Gaithersburg Library
"Silver Wings," the premier country music ensemble of the U.S. Air Force, will launch the 2001-2002 "Nights of Notes" music series at the Gaithersburg Library on September 26, at 7:30 p.m. The free concert will be held in the large meeting room.
Formed in 1993, Silver Wings performs a mixture of country's greatest classics, as well as contemporary tunes. They have performed before international dignitaries and have backed up some of country music's greatest stars. They have appeared on The Nashville Network's "Prime Time Country" show and are regularly featured at the U.S. Capitol and The White House.
