Festival of the Arts and Humanities
To Be Held September 29

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County is hosting Magical Montgomery – a festival of the arts and humanities, on Saturday, September 29 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. The festival will be held on Fenton Street in Silver Spring between Colesville Road and Wayne Avenue.

This second annual cultural fair will showcase Montgomery County’s arts, humanities and cultural organizations, as well as highlight the Silver Spring revitalization efforts. The fair will feature live music, entertainment, food, artist and craft shows along with creative activities for children, families and adults. Headlining the entertainment will be Sean Culkin’s Irish dance troupe, Liz Lerman’s Teen Exchange modern dance and the Washington Savoyards.
