Fall Concert
Features Swing Band
Big band enthusiasts can swing into fall at a free concert on Sunday, September 30, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., on the grounds of the Conference Center at Cedar Ridge in Spencerville.
Entertainment will be provided by the Swing Time Big Band, performing the music of big band masters such as County Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and others.
Picnics are welcome and patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Limited seating is available, and there is free, on-site parking.
The Cedar Ridge Conference Center is located at 2410 Spencerville Road, off of New Hampshire Avenue in the eastern portion of Montgomery County. For directions, log onto www.crcc.org/cc.
