County Licensure and Regulatory Services
Section Moves to New Location

Effective immediately, the Department of Health and Human Services' Licensure and Regulatory Services section is now located at 255 Rockville Pike, 2nd floor, in Rockville. The phone number is 240-777-3986 and office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Staff from Licensure and Regulatory Services enforce state and county laws related to food service facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and group homes, swimming pools, rat control and private educational facilities. In addition, they issue permits for activities such as bingo games, raffles and special events where food is sold.
