Office of Human Rights Seeks
Hall of Fame Nominees
The Montgomery County Office of Human Rights (OHR) is seeking nominations for individuals to be honored in the County’s Human Rights Hall of Fame. Inductees will be nominated by the community and selected by a panel of judges. They should be current or former County residents, living or deceased, who were or still are pioneers and stalwarts in efforts to improve the lives of others.
Selection criteria for Hall of Fame members include exemplary leadership, achievement and lasting impact on housing, public accommodations and employment policies, as well as impact on the social climate in Montgomery County’s human rights movement. Ten honorees will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Thursday, March 21, 2002.
