Program on Chronic Illness
The public is invited to attend a free panel discussion on chronic illness and preview an upcoming PBS special, "Who Cares: Chronic Illness in America" on Thursday, October 25 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Asbury Methodist Village, 201 Russell Avenue, Gaithersburg.
Co-sponsored by the National Family Caregivers Association and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, the program will feature family caregivers, individuals with chronic illnesses, health care professionals and religious leaders in a discussion about the issues involved in caring for a person with a chronic illness.
A continental breakfast will be served and there will be community resource information and exhibits available.
