Violinist Linda Wang
To Perform in Silver Spring

Critically acclaimed violinist Linda Wang will perform at the J. H. Blake High School Theatre located at 300 Norwood Road in Silver Spring on Friday, November 9 at 8 p.m.

Wang has won recognition from the music world and has been praised by critics as “among the premier young violinists of the world.” Wang performed with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of nine, and has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Salzburg Chamber Orchestra, Paris Sinfonietta, and the Czech Republic Philharmony. Her performances have been televised nationally for PBS, Arts and Entertainment, ZDF in Germany and NHK in Japan.

The performance is presented by Community Concerts of Olney, with support from the County Executive’s Office of Community Outreach.
