Evening Pool Party
Set for Middle Schoolers

Water sports, music and refreshments will highlight a Pool Party to be held on November 9 at Martin Luther King, Jr. Swim Center, 1201 Jackson Rd., Silver Spring, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.

A deejay will provide music and prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Participants may wear t-shirts over bathing suits and should bring towels and locks; no gym shorts or cut offs are allowed in the pool.

Recreation Department officials strongly recommend that students ride the buses, due to the limited capacity for walk-ins.

Students will be picked up at 8 p.m. at the following locations and be dropped off at 11 p.m.:

• East County Community Center, 3310 Gateshead Manor Way, Silver Spring;

• Longbranch Community Center, 8700 Piney Branch Rd., Silver Spring;

• Parkland Middle School, 4610 W. Frankfort Dr., Rockville;

• Gwendolyn E. Coffield Community Center, 2450 Lyttonsville Rd., Silver Spring;

• Wheaton Community Center, 11711 Georgia Ave., Wheaton; and

• Sligo Middle School, 1401 Dennis Ave., Silver Spring.
