Favor of Conference Center
The Montgomery County Circuit Court today upheld the approval decision for the Montgomery County Conference Center made by the Montgomery County Planning Board. The Court ruled against plaintiff David H. Brown's assertion that the Board acted inappropriately in its approval decision for the Conference Center.
"I am pleased that the Circuit Court ruled in our favor and I look forward to moving ahead with the project," said County Executive Douglas M. Duncan.
The Montgomery County Conference Center will be located at the intersection of Rockville Pike, Marinelli Road and Executive Boulevard and will include more than 36,000 square feet of meeting space and a 225-room Marriott Hotel.
