County Creates Web Site for Posting
Letters of Remembrance Following
Events of September 11

The Montgomery County Office of Public Information has created a link on its Internet website to a page where residents can send e-mails of remembrance and healing dedicated to those who were victimized by the events on September 11.

The website was created to give Montgomery County residents an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings following the tragedies in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. The short messages will be posted daily on the County’s website.

“We Americans have experienced a very traumatic event in our nation’s history,” said Duncan. “This remembrance website will provide an outlet for our residents to express their grief and feelings following these recent tragic events.”

The Remembrance website can be found at www.co.mo.md.us/remember, and click on “e-mail” to write and send your message.
