Montgomery County Cipro Distribution Information

In accordance with the directive from the Centers for Disease Control, Montgomery County Public Health officials will immediately begin distributing Cipro to federal mailroom workers at the County’s Health Risk Assessment Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. The Center is located at 2000 Dennis Avenue (just east of the intersection of Georgia and Dennis Avenues).

The Center’s hours of operation are as follows:

Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 7 p.m.

Individuals with questions or concerns about possible exposure to Anthrax may visit the Health Risk Assessment Center during its hours of operation for advice, counseling and screening. No appointment is necessary. Residents may also call the County’s Bioterrorism Hotline 24 hours a day at 240-777-4200.
